Jamia Islamia Arabia,
Masjid Tarjumewali: Bhopal was established in the year 1379 Hijri.
It was started with a few students in a tinny Masjid called
“Tarjumewali” in the year 1379 Hijri Mufti Abdul Razzaq Khan, after
completion of his studies in Darul Uloom Deoband, he became founder
& Rais Jamia Islamia Arabia Tarjumewali Masjid. He devoted his life
for the improvement of this institution. This institution has now
attend the status of an Islamic University of the region. Main aim
of the institution is to impart the knowledge of Holi Quran and
practice Hadees.
In this Jamia the classes start from primary to ifta, daure Hadees.
Primary classes with tajweed, reciting of Quran with quirat are
being held in the Masjid and Arabic classes of maulvi, Aalim. Fazil
including “Daru-e-Hadees”, classes of research and Darul Qaza are
regularly held in “Darul Quran” and are part and parcel of the
Jamia’s educational arrangements.
Total strength of the students of Jamia is 7850 out of which 650
reside in the hostel (Darul Iqama) of the Jamia. They are fully
provided with all kinds of facilities without charging any amount
therefore. No fee of any kind except admission fee of Rs. 20, is
charged from the student. The Jamia has established 150 branches in
the vicinity of the city and neighboring districts of Raisen, Sehore
and Guna etc. efforts are on to open more and more branches of Jamia.
The Jamia makes the payment of salaries to teachers and other staff
including those of all the branches.
